Arkie is multi-award-winning master groomer dedicated to delivering high-end grooming with care, precision, and passion.
As an owner and lover of both Poodles and Terriers, Arkie has spent years developing her skills across a wide variety of coat types and grooming styles. Her competition experience in Terriers, Poodles, Gundogs, and Asian Fusion grooming has helped shape the high standard of work she now brings into everyday salon grooming.
Arkie has competed across Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Queensland, as well as internationally in the North Island of New Zealand, where she competed and groomed at a master level. Competing across multiple states and countries has allowed her to work alongside and learn from some of the industry’s most respected groomers while continually refining her own techniques and style.
Alongside traditional grooming, Arkie also enjoys creative grooming and adding safe, pet-friendly colour work to coats to create fun, unique, and personalised styles. Her creative approach allows clients to add something extra special to their dog’s groom while still maintaining coat health and comfort. And yes if you know Arkie, you already know her favourite colour is pink, which perfectly matches the fun, creative energy behind the studio.
Arkie is also proudly a sponsored competitor for her favourite de-shedding brush brand, Refuresh, a tool she loves using to help achieve beautiful coat finishes and healthy results for her clients’ dogs.
For many years, Arkie owned and operated a large, busy grooming salon on Sydney’s Northern Beaches before selling the business in 2025. After years in a fast-paced salon environment, she decided to create something more personal a calm, slower-paced, high-end grooming studio focused on quality, comfort, and individual care.
Today, Trinket’s Grooming Studio offers a boutique grooming experience where every dog receives the time, patience, and attention they deserve. From precision scissor work and breed-standard styling to hand stripping, de-shedding, teddy bear trims, Asian Fusion grooming, and creative colour work, each groom is tailored to suit the dog’s individual needs and lifestyle.
